The LEGO Toy Pad is in fact just a custom USB triple NFC reader that can read NFC tags (not only the LEGO Toy Tags but also several other tags including those used in other games like Disney Infinity) and change the color of the RGB light associated to each reader. The cause may also be related to the specific USB port. Try unplugging the dongle and reconnecting it to another USB port. Observe that Windows recognize the device and it is listed correctly in Device Manager. It’s recommended to restart the machine after attempting this action before running WeDo 2.0 again.

The mentioned apparatus are stacked on top of each other in the cabinet. Update USB input device drivers. Open Devices and Printers from Control Panel. Double-click Nano S and open the Hardware tab. Select USB Input Device and click Properties. Click Change Settings. Click the Driver tab. Click Update driver and select automatic driver selection. Repeat this for both USB Input Devices. When you connect a USB audio device to a Windows 10 Version 1703-based computer the first time, the operating system detects the device but loads the standard USB audio 2.0 driver (usbaudio2.sys) instead of the specific device driver.
